Na het zien van al die mooie foto's die ik post van mijn paarden en fijne (paarden) momenten, denk je misschien dat alles altijd soepel en voorspoedig gaat op stal. Maar natuurlijk zijn er ook teleurstellingen en trieste momenten zoals elke paardeneigenaar kent. Zoals vanavond...
Ik kreeg een telefoontje van de kliniek dat mijn zelf gefokte 1 jarige merrie Newsy WS (Vigo d'Arsouilles x Ustinov) zich zo ernstig blesseerde na het wakker worden uit narcose (ze onderging een operatie) dat inslapen de enige optie was.
Zo triest... maar zo gaat het helaas ook als je paarden hebt. RIP pretty girl...

Received a phone call from the clinic that my self-bred 1 year old mare Newsy WS (Vigo d'Arsouilles x Ustinov) injured herself so badly after waking up from narcose (she has had a surgery) that they had to put her down.
So sad... but that's how it goes when you have horses. RIP pretty girl!
